A PlayPump is a child¹s roundabout installed over a sustainable borehole. When children play on the roundabout, it pumps clean water from deep underground into storage tanks where it is then easily accessible from a tap. The PlayPump not only gives schools and  communities a free, clean, sustainable water supply, but children get to play and go to school rather than spending time collecting water. Schools also take advantage of the water supply to help implement hygiene and irrigation programmes.
