 因遷就區議會選舉徵用赤柱社區會堂的埸地，得勝作品展覽10月至11月中暫停三星期，將在以下日照常展出：

                            9月23日 -10月7日

                            11月18日-12月31日

( NEWS ) Duration of exhibition of winning photos will be re-adjusted since the community hall will be reserved for District Council election in October. Exhibition will be on from 23 Sept to 7 Oct. Then stop for 3 weeks and re-open on 18 Nov, then will last till end of December, 2007

"文化節"簡介：

由赤柱居民聯誼會主辦之攝影比賽順利舉行，謹向各參賽者及協助單位致意。

攝影賽頒獎禮將於9月23日(星期日)下午1:30於赤柱社區會堂舉行。同日中午12時至5時將在其門前空地同時舉行「赤柱社區文化節」令氣氛更熱鬧。到時將有銀樂隊沿赤柱東頭灣道至赤柱市場道巡遊、並有龍獅匯演 ( 醒獅上梅花樁)、民歌、太極，及蘇格蘭風笛等表演，並由區內外到場參與的志願團體主持特色攤位活動，包抱印度手繪紋身、中國摺紙、扭氣球、搾小麥草汁及其他手工藝工作坊，並有猜燈謎、魔術、印度敲擊樂齊齊玩、舞獅及龍舟器材展覽及有機耕種展覽等，讓公眾人士一同歡聚及享受傳統及另類文化之樂。所有活動及攤位均免費入場，不必門費，而且大部分攤位公眾均可以親身觸摸器材及參與活動，機會難得，

因手機組及學生組參賽人數不足,已調整得獎人數。

得勝作品將由當天起展出至12月底。

Exhibition: Winning pieces in the 2007 Dragon Boat Photo Competition will be on display  in Stanley Community Hall from the date onwards till Dec2007.

Performances: Marching band, lion dance, dragon dance, Scotish pipe, singing & cultural show, magic show, violin recital.

Demo/ free-trial booths: mehndi (henna) painting,  origami, arts and crafts, balloon twisting, India percussion play-along, wheat grass juicing, lion dance equipment display, dragon boat equipment display, organic farming, Chinese lantern  riddles, stall games.

攝影賽章程：

　　近年，國際知名的赤柱龍舟競渡已經不單是體育界盛事，也備受攝影發燒友注目。今年趁端午節赤柱龍舟競渡昂然進入40週年之際，正式名命為國際賽並已有超過200隊報名，為隆重其事，赤柱居民聯誼會暨赤柱龍舟協會得到香港三十五攝影研究會與獵影遊兩大著名攝影組織協辦一個名為『群龍競渡匯赤柱』攝影比賽，歡迎公眾踴躍參加。比賽旨在通過精彩照片，展示赤柱龍舟比賽的特色, 題材須集中在今年三個赤柱賽事，日期為5月27日、6月19日及7月1日。比賽蒙幾位攝影界前輩組成強勁評審團、並得沙龍天地及攝影世界雜誌贊助。　　

參加辦法：
攝影比賽章程及報名表請於網頁(www.dragonboat.org.hk) 下載及自行影印。所有參賽作品需連同參賽表格於七月十八日前親自遞交或郵寄至香港赤柱大街９６號

截止：二○○七年七月十八日

公佈結果：將於2007年8月在網頁公佈。所有得獎作品將於八月至九月期間在赤柱社區會堂公開展出。

“Dragons Dashing at Stanley” Photo Competition 2007

Introduction

The annual dragon boat racing at Stanley is coming. In recent years the number of participants has been breaking new levels – regardless of nationality and background this joyful regatta attracts thousands to Stanley Main Beach . This year the race organizer is holding a “Dragons Dashing at Stanley ” Photo Competition. Entry is now open to the public.

 The photo competition is organized by Stanley Residents Assn and the Hong Kong 35 Photography Society, and is co-organized by Photo Hiking Club. Sponsored by Salon Mars Studio.

 The objective of the photo competition is to display the beauty and specialty of dragon boat racing at Stanley . Images must be captured during the 3 dragon boat races of Stanley held this year. (27/5, 19/6, 1/7)

The competition is divided into 3 classes, open, students and hand-phones (mobile phones). Entries must be submitted with a hard copy and entry form, each sent to Stanley Dragon Boat Assn, No.96 Stanley Main Street , by 18 July 2007 .

 All classes will have 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd prizes, merit prizes and some qualifying prizes.

 Results of the competition will be announced on the official website www.dragonboat.org.hk in August. Prize winners will be notified by special mail. All prize winning pieces of work will be displayed at the Stanley Community Hall from August to September.

Entry forms and information sheets for the competition can be downloaded from the web site www.dragonboat.org.hk and photocopies are acceptable.
