Equipment: all provided by the organizer ( during
official practice and races) with no extra charges [except life jackets]
but all damages should be compensated.

- If you would like to receive the "Entry Pack 2008", simply send us your contact address by fax (contact name, organization name, postal address, mobile phone no., email address, fax no, etc). In early January each year, all teams that participated in the previous year's competition will receive the Entry Pack automatically (sent to team contact person).
- PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION ON THIS WEB SITE (AND ALL DOCUMENTS SENT TO YOU LATER) CAREFULLY TO AVOID UNNECESSARY CONFUSION.
- Categories:
There are 4 categories to choose: Men's A ( sub-divided as Expat and Chinese
Class), Men's B, Ladies, Mixed.
[ please note that from 2008 onwards, Men's Class B will not be sub-divided
as Expat and Chinese Class anymore ; Mixed class has been introduced since
2005 ]
- Please fill in the forms in BLOCK CAPITALS, with your TEAM NAME in full - do not use abbreviations.
Application forms MUST include both Chinese and English Team Names.
CHOOSE YOUR CATEGORY CAREFULLY, as it cannot be changed later.
STEERSMAN REGISTRATION
2008 To avoid the possibility of injury to competitors, damage of dragon boats and disruption of the
tight racing schedule caused by inexperienced steersmen, the organizer has
adopted a system of testing and registering steersmen
for over 10 years. "During race and practice" only those registered with the organizer will be allowed to steer.
Registration valid for 3 years. Those registered before with their cards overdue or
lost should download the form,
retake the test and renew their registration with the appropriate fee.
Notice for OVERSEAS ENTRY 2005-8
- as a response to increasing international enquiries
- only valid for genuine oversea teams (maybe on their way to HKDBA's International Race one week afterwads) with
original team name intact, as Regular Entry
- exemption from steersmen registration/accessment
- team booth provided free of
charge
- souvenir programmes (race publication) and gift packs ( 2 options: T-shirt or paddles) to be given to each team member
- half price for entry package ( entry+training )
- training between Stanley and
other international events can be booked at special rate.

- passport, flight ticket check or HKDBA athlete cards may need to be verified
NB. the organizer will NOT host accommodation and travel, but will assist in several ways: e.g. liaise with hotel and airline sponsors, find student helper/ volunteer liaison officer or help you book tour bus and lunch/dinner on your expenses (without service charge from our side).
NOT VALID FOR LOCAL EXPAT TEAMS or oversea teams with local sponsor's name !
