Stanley Short Course Invitational 2004
Dragonboating has been developing rapidly, and the Tuen Ng event at Stanley has grown big. Responding to demand, the Stanley Residents Assn , on top of the yearly Tuen Ng Festival championships in June as well as year-round trainings, has endeavored to organize more regular competitions in the year. The captioned smaller scale 200- meter event this year will be staged on 1 May 2004 (Saturday, Labour Day public holiday) at the Stanley Bay (facing Stanley Plaza) from 9 am to 4 pm. Only around 40 teams of good record will be invited. Please download, complete and return the entry form promptly by mail with a cheque for the entry fee of HK$2000 ASAP. (deadline 15 April). There will only be one class for both Men's and Ladies' events respectively without further classification in terms of standard or nationalities. Enquiries for practice, coaching, steersman, new entries and sponsorship all welcome. FREE ADMISSION for the public.
"2004 赤柱龍舟短途邀請賽"
龍舟比賽近年發展迅速，本區賽事亦日漸壯大。本賽會徇眾要求，除端午正日龍舟競度及展開全年訓練之外，再次加辦更多定期賽事。現定於西歷2004年5月1日〈星期六勞動節公眾假期〉上午9 時至下午4時，於赤柱灣〈美利樓對開〉舉行「第三屆赤柱龍舟短途邀請賽」，計劃邀請四十隊以往成績較佳之隊伍，以先到先得形式籌組，男女子各一組，不分國籍或級別，賽程僅為200米。敬請盡早下載報名表格及信件，填好並聯同報名費HK$2000以劃線支票寄交本會。截止日期為4月15日。新參加、要求賽前練習、安排舵手或有意贊助等，請儘快與本會秘書處聯絡。
