Stanley Short Course Invitational 2005
Responding to demand, the Stanley Residents Assn , on top of the yearly Tuen Ng Festival championships in June as well as year-round trainings, has endeavored to organize more regular competitions in the year. The captioned event will be staged on 5 June, 2005 (Sunday) at Stanley Main Beach. Please download, complete and return the entry form promptly by mail with a cheque for the entry fee of HK$2000 ASAP. (deadline 15 April).
This invitational race differs slightly comparing with the mega event of Stanley Tuen Ng championships in terms of rules and format, such as there will only be three groups for entry (Men's, Ladies' and *mixed events) without further classification and grading (* The mixed event is a new arrangement), a shorter 200- meter course and the free use of private paddles, etc. As it is re-scheduled to fall on a day so close to the Tuen Ng Festival this year, a record-breaking turn-out, and large number of cross-district elite entries is expected. To secure a place within the 50-team ceiling, you are advised to submit the form at your earliest convenience. Those not receiving our invitation letter can still download the info pack and send up your application.

"2005 赤柱龍舟短途邀請賽"
本賽會徇眾要求，除端午正日龍舟競度及展開全年訓練之外，再次加辦更多定期賽事。現定於西歷2005年6月5日〈星期日〉，於赤柱正灘舉行「第四屆赤柱龍舟短途邀請賽」。
本短途賽之賽例與賽制與端午節赤柱龍舟錦標賽(大賽)稍有別，例如只設男子、女子及* 混合三組 [ *混合組為今年新增項目] ，不再分其他組別或級別，賽程僅200米，且准用私家槳等。由於重新擇期後這次比賽與端午節正日賽期接近，相距僅六天，預計參加隊伍會創新高，越區參賽的好手踴躍。暫定上限為50隊，額滿即止。欲免向隅，懇請提早辦理，盡快下載報名表格及信件，填好並聯同報名費HK$2000以劃線支票寄交本會。截止日期為4月15日。如未收到本會邀請函，只需自行下載資料包寄回辦理。新參加、要求賽前練習、安排舵手或有意贊助等，也請儘快與本會秘書處聯絡。到時公眾可免費入場觀賞。
